Job Overview

Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) is seeking a Data Support Officer to strengthen district-level data management systems. The position requires hands-on expertise in data collection, management, analysis, and reporting, ensuring quality information flow for effective decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement district-level data collection and management mechanisms while ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with safeguarding principles.

  • Assist the Project Coordinator and M&E Manager in preparing and submitting verified monthly and quarterly progress reports.

  • Support the development and implementation of field monitoring tools and data quality control systems at the AAC level.

  • Conduct field monitoring of trainings, community meetings, and other program interventions.

  • Carry out data validation visits to ensure accuracy, reliability, and completeness before submission to PMU.

  • Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of all program data.

  • Provide capacity-building support to field staff (Community Facilitators, AAC Resource Persons) in data entry and management.

  • Upload and maintain progress data in digital MIS or online systems.

  • Perform data quality checks and ensure compliance with PMU requirements.

  • Provide technical guidance to district teams on data management and quality-related issues.

  • Conduct data quality analysis, prepare reports, and support MIS enhancements or new data systems.

  • Assist in research and data collection for special studies.

  • Compile and submit weekly and monthly activity calendars for monitoring purposes.

  • Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
