Job Description

Job Purpose:

Oversee the preparation and delivery of standalone and consolidated financial statements of Engro Corporation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare statutory financial reports, ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards and corporate laws.
Compile reporting deliverables and circulate to the BAC 7 days prior to quarterly meetings.
Deliver monthly financial dashboards highlighting key outstanding or balance sheet reconciling items within 5 working days of month-end.
Monitor departmental fixed costs, shared costs, and CAPEX, flagging concerns and recommending corrective actions.
Lead financial planning and annual Corporate Plan preparation for cost optimization and shared cost rationalization.
Ensure consistent, timely group-wide financial reporting through SAP and BPC; reconcile subsidiary accounts per agreed timelines.
Optimize OneSAP processes to improve efficiency in accounting functions.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for timely audit completion.

Internal: Department budget champions, GM Accounting & Tax, Internal Auditors, Subsidiary Accounting Teams
External: External Auditors

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Financial Management, Budgeting
Advanced Excel
Accounting Standards (IFRS & GAAP), Local Compliance & Regulations
Strong interpersonal skills

Education & Qualifications:

CA (Finance) or equivalent in Accounting/Finance

Professional Experience:

2–5 years post-qualification experience
Strong understanding of financial statements, controls, and corporate laws
Experience with Big 4 audit firms preferred
