Job Description

The Nutrition Specialist will be responsible for engaging with medical and paramedical professionals to provide accurate, scientific, and compliant information about Nestlé Infant Nutrition products. The role ensures ethical promotion aligned with WHO Code, Local Code, and Nestlé policies while building strong professional relationships and driving responsible market growth.


Key Responsibilities

Medical & Professional Engagement

  • Conduct effective medical detailing to communicate product features, benefits, and appropriate usage in line with Nestlé guidelines and EES.

  • Build strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and decision-makers.

  • Act as a trusted source of information on infant and maternal nutrition, infant feeding practices, and Nestlé Infant Nutrition products.

Territory & Market Management

  • Drive market share growth of the Infant Nutrition portfolio through ethical engagement and compliant detailing.

  • Achieve monthly HCP and MDC coverage targets as per assigned frequency.

  • Plan and execute monthly field itineraries in coordination with the Area Nutrition Manager (ANM).

  • Maintain and regularly update the master database of healthcare contacts in CRM.

  • Conduct pharmacy visits to assess prescription trends, product availability, hygiene standards, and competitor activity.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Submit accurate and timely reports on field activities, HCP interactions, and market insights.

  • Ensure full compliance with WHO Code, Local Code, and Nestlé policies at all times.

  • Support management with competitive intelligence and recommended counter-actions.

Training & Scientific Engagement

  • Organize and participate in scientific sessions, CME activities, RTDs, and speaker programs in coordination with ANM.

  • Facilitate Nestlé Nutrition Institute (NNI) participation in medical conferences and educational events.

  • Participate actively in corporate training programs, cycle meetings, and development sessions.

Asset & Resource Management

  • Maintain company assets including promotional materials, literature, tablets, and vehicles in good condition.

  • Ensure responsible use of all assigned company resources.


Compliance & Ethics

  • Strict adherence to WHO and Local Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes.

  • No direct or indirect interaction with pregnant women or mothers of infants and young children in any professional capacity.
