Role Overview

Jazz is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee the complete contract lifecycle — from drafting and vetting to negotiation and execution. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding organizational interests, minimizing risk exposure, and ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and internal policy frameworks.

The position requires extensive experience in negotiating complex Technology and IT-related contracts, managing vendor-client relationships, and ensuring timely closure of negotiations aligned with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements including vendor, procurement, partnership, and technology contracts.

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from initiation and business case approval to execution and closure.

  • Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain and manage a comprehensive contract repository and documentation system.

  • Monitor renewals, amendments, terminations, and contract milestones.

  • Utilize contract management tools such as SAP Ariba and Oracle to streamline processes.

  • Develop and standardize contract templates aligned with organizational requirements.

  • Escalate contentious clauses to relevant stakeholders with recommended resolutions.

  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, IT, and other functional teams during negotiations.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual and commercial matters.

  • Assist in resolving contractual disputes and recommend appropriate settlements.

  • Provide reporting and updates to senior management on contract status and risk exposure.

  • Deliver training and guidance on contractual best practices and compliance standards.


Eligibility Criteria

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within Digital, IT, Telecom, or Banking industries.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, liabilities, and dispute resolution mechanisms

  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

  • Risk assessment and mitigation expertise

  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards

  • Proficiency in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and project management tools

  • Analytical ability to evaluate financial and operational implications

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously while meeting deadlines

  • High ethical standards and integrity in professional dealings

  • Adaptability in dynamic business environments
