Job Overview

Meezan Bank Limited is seeking dynamic and result-oriented professionals for the position of Agriculture Finance Officer. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about rural development, agricultural financing, and Islamic banking solutions. The selected candidate will play a key role in expanding agricultural finance outreach and strengthening relationships with farming communities.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Agriculture graduate) from an HEC-recognized university/institute.

• Certification or qualification in Islamic Finance will be considered an added advantage.

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in:

  • Agriculture financing

  • Microfinance

  • Agricultural product marketing

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and market agricultural finance products at the village level.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned areas.

• Process credit applications and conduct customer visits for verification and market assessment.

• Ensure timely disbursement and recovery of agricultural financing.

• Organize financial literacy and awareness sessions for farmers.

• Coordinate with internal departments to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Sound knowledge of agricultural financing products and prudential regulations.

• Expertise in customer due diligence and financial analysis.

• Relationship management and community engagement skills.

• Fluency in local languages for effective outreach.

Multiple cities across Pakistan, including AJK & Gilgit-Baltistan
