Job Description

Octans Digital Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a certified VMware Cloud professional with hands-on experience in administering VMware Public Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will manage cloud infrastructure, ensure operational excellence, and provide high-quality support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and troubleshoot Regional Public Cloud Infrastructure, including patching, updates, and version upgrades.
Deploy and manage Software Defined Networks (VMware NSX) for Public Cloud Infrastructure.
Configure and optimize Cloud Management Services for operational excellence.
Handle customer requests via Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for onboarding and change management.
Perform systems and infrastructure monitoring using VMware vCenter, vRealize Operations Manager, and VEEAM One.
Coordinate with vendors (VMware, EMC, HP, VEEAM) for software and application-level support.
Administer backup of Cloud Management Infrastructure.
Deploy templates for public-facing catalogs for end customers.
Develop automation processes for Public Cloud Infrastructure, including alerts, notifications, and maintenance tasks.
Maintain complete documentation including design documents, configuration workbooks, and system inventories.
Provide Tier 2 support for Public Cloud Infrastructure.
