Unilever is hiring a Supply Planner – Foods to lead Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for the Foods category. This role ensures optimal service levels while maintaining efficient inventory management and minimizing business waste.
You will play a critical role in production planning, supplier coordination, and cross-functional alignment to deliver operational excellence at the Foods Factory in Lahore.
Ensure availability of raw and packaging materials as per defined norms
Manage inventory using A, B, C classification
Update weekly MRP (Excel-based) and load MPS in SAP to execute system MRP
Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) for imported materials as per lead times
Generate Purchase Orders (PO) for local raw materials and follow up with suppliers
Share weekly early warning indicators with Procurement
Track and follow up on supplier ETAs
Develop and maintain master production schedules aligned with demand plans
Ensure stock cover levels are maintained as per norms
Identify and escalate capacity constraints
Update production schedules weekly based on demand and stock openings
Manage provisions for the Foods category
Minimize business waste by highlighting MOQ issues, expiry risks, and demand drops
Maintain system hygiene by coordinating blocked stock removal with stakeholders
Share weekly production plans with the Foods Factory
Monitor daily plan compliance and resolve RM/PM issues
Collaborate with logistics, warehousing, suppliers, quality, and R&D teams for smooth material flow
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing
Strong analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills
