Organization: Fatima Fertilizer Limited – Site Services & Support

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Officer to manage and verify freight operations, ensuring accurate calculation, payment, and compliance for all shipments. This role involves monitoring transport costs, handling exceptions, reconciling invoices, and maintaining audit-ready records to support efficient freight management.

Key Responsibilities:

Freight Verification: Ensure freight payments align with approved slabs, policies, and market rates. Resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Diversion & Exceptions: Manage diversion freight, validate approvals, and handle non-standard shipments.
OTM & Manual Adjustments: Detect and correct errors in freight calculations, maintaining an audit trail.
Route & Cost Monitoring: Track KM reports, monitor dedicated fleet routes, and adjust freight calculations per fuel and cost changes.
Freight Claims & Payments: Reconcile transporter invoices, resolve claims/disputes, and coordinate timely payments with Finance.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on freight costs, exceptions, and transporter performance. Recommend cost optimization actions.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with Plant, Warehouses, Sales, Transporters, and Finance for smooth operations. Support audits and contractor processes.
Team Leadership: Mentor team members, delegate tasks, manage performance, and ensure compliance with EHS policies.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Expertise in logistics, freight management, and transportation compliance, preferably in the fertilizer sector.
Hands-on experience with Oracle & OTM for freight verification, adjustments, and reporting.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for freight analysis and reporting).
Effective communication and team coordination skills.

Qualification & Experience:

Master’s (16 years) or MBA in Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Agriculture-related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in freight, transport allocation, or supply chain functions.
