Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive Department Manager – Fruit & Vegetables to oversee and optimize the department operations. Key responsibilities include:

Supervise overall department activities and ensure smooth operations.
Monitor stock expiry, perform timely stock corrections, and manage pricing updates.
Handle customer queries and complaints with timely resolution.
Train, coach, and manage departmental staff performance.
Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, food safety, and security standards.
Verify goods receiving with proper documentation and quality checks.
Conduct market visits for price updates and product coordination.
Lead weekly inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
Analyze sales data to optimize product mix and maximize profitability.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance store operations and customer experience.
Implement sustainable practices and waste reduction initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Intermediate degree.
6–8 years of relevant experience in retail or wholesale management.
