Position Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Assistant Manager – Network Operations to ensure high availability, security, and performance of enterprise network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

Support daily network operations and ensure uninterrupted service availability.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues within defined SLAs.

Network & Security Administration

Manage and configure firewalls including FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, and Sophos.
Handle Site-to-Site IPsec VPN troubleshooting and SD-WAN deployments.
Oversee UTM features and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments.
Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies.

Project & Resource Coordination

Assist in planning and executing network-related projects.
Manage inventory and optimize capacity planning for network resources.
Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for branch connectivity.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders for smooth network support services.

Reporting & Quality Assurance

Prepare operational reports and performance analysis.
Maintain quality standards and continuous process improvement.

Team Leadership & Development

Supervise and guide junior team members.
Support training initiatives and skill development programs.
Act as liaison between technical teams and senior management.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Security, or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years in network operations or a supervisory/lead role.

Certifications (Preferred):

CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of Network & Network Security
SD-WAN architecture and implementation
Private Cloud concepts
Firewall and VPN management
Experience with enterprise-level network solutions

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
