A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced network professionals to join as Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Routing & Switching) on a contractual basis. The role focuses on managing enterprise-level network infrastructure, ensuring secure connectivity, and supporting continuous improvement of core communication systems.
Bachelor’s degree (minimum 4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory
Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage
All academic credentials must be attested by HEC / relevant boards
At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in communications and network management
Industry certifications such as CCNA / CCNP will be preferred
Operate, manage, and deploy core network switches and Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
Configure and maintain routing policies, firewall security rules, web & DNS filtering, IDS/IPS, geo-fencing, and spam filtering mechanisms
Implement and manage IPSec VPN solutions
Handle network infrastructure upgrades involving Layer-2 and Layer-3 switching environments
Perform troubleshooting across multi-vendor devices including Juniper, Cisco, H3C, and Fortigate
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Identify opportunities to enhance overall network performance and security posture
Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Proactive mindset with focus on infrastructure optimization
Capability to collaborate across technical teams and stakeholders
Appointment will be on a contract basis with an initial 6-month probation period (extendable)
