National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is hiring Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Routing & Switching)

Age Limit: Up to 37 Years (including applicable relaxation)

A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced network professionals to join as Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Routing & Switching) on a contractual basis. The role focuses on managing enterprise-level network infrastructure, ensuring secure connectivity, and supporting continuous improvement of core communication systems.

🎓 Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum 4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory

• Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage

• All academic credentials must be attested by HEC / relevant boards

🧑‍💻 Professional Experience

• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in communications and network management

• Industry certifications such as CCNA / CCNP will be preferred

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

• Operate, manage, and deploy core network switches and Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW)

• Configure and maintain routing policies, firewall security rules, web & DNS filtering, IDS/IPS, geo-fencing, and spam filtering mechanisms

• Implement and manage IPSec VPN solutions

• Handle network infrastructure upgrades involving Layer-2 and Layer-3 switching environments

• Perform troubleshooting across multi-vendor devices including Juniper, Cisco, H3C, and Fortigate

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Identify opportunities to enhance overall network performance and security posture
