The Head of Process Efficiency & Financial Reconciliation plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the bank’s reconciliation and settlement operations are accurate, efficient, and aligned with strategic and regulatory objectives.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to optimize daily and historical reconciliation & settlement processes, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items

Enhance reconciliation systems through process re-engineering, research, and business requirement analysis

Lead collaboration with Finance, IT, and external vendors to resolve system issues and improve performance

Drive automation, digitization, and system integration aligned with digital transformation goals

Ensure full compliance with SBP regulations, prudential requirements, and internal policies
-
Strengthen internal controls by improving SOPs, workflows, and documentation standards
-
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to reconciliation teams
-
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
-
Monitor industry trends and implement best-in-class reconciliation technologies

Develop dashboards and reporting tools for senior management insights
-
Lead risk assessments, audit closure, and control enhancement initiatives
-
Drive cross-functional efficiency projects across operations and finance domains

Spearhead initiatives involving AI/ML-based anomaly detection in reconciliation systems

Benchmark processes against global banking standards and best practices
🎓 Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
-
Advanced degree or certifications such as CA, ACCA, ICMA, IBP will be preferred
-
Minimum 10 years of banking experience in operations, reconciliation, settlements, or accounting
-
At least 3–4 years in a senior managerial/leadership role
