Job Overview

Beaconhouse Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join its Education Department. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into meaningful insights to support decision-making, improve performance, and enhance operational efficiency across departments.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Equivalent practical experience will also be considered

Key Responsibilities

Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for business improvement
Design, develop, and administer surveys ensuring accuracy and data reliability
Clean, validate, and transform raw data for analysis and reporting
Perform ad-hoc analysis based on departmental requirements
Develop clear and impactful data visualizations to communicate insights effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support
Prepare detailed reports highlighting findings and recommendations
Maintain and update databases, dashboards, and data tracking systems
Support research and development initiatives with data-driven insights
Stay updated with modern tools, techniques, and best practices in data analytics

Required Skills

Strong understanding of data visualization and report writing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data handling and querying
Working knowledge of Python, R, SPSS, or Stata (any one preferred)
Familiarity with survey tools such as Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, or Qualtrics
Experience with dashboard tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio (preferred)
Basic understanding of web-based reporting tools (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
