Job Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Relationship Officer – Deposit Banking. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, expanding deposit portfolios, and driving sustainable liability growth through effective customer acquisition and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Execute customer acquisition strategies to build a strong deposit portfolio and achieve liability growth targets
Develop and maintain CALSA / Savings Account / Term Deposit (TD) customer portfolios within defined timelines
Achieve assigned product-wise targets on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Recruit and manage freelancers/brand ambassadors to support deposit mobilization (team size up to 25 members)
Ensure optimal portfolio mix between CASA and Term Deposits
Drive acquisition of fairly priced deposits to support retail growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Ensure alignment with bank policies, procedures, and internal coordination with branch teams
Achieve daily targets for deposit mobilization and new-to-bank (NTB) account opening
Identify customer needs and coordinate with Relationship Managers/Branch Managers when required
Cross-sell and upsell banking products to existing customers
Monitor competitor activity and adapt strategies to retain clients
Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure high-quality service delivery
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the line manager

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution
Strong understanding of deposit products and banking operations
Knowledge of CASA and banking fundamentals for portfolio growth
Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, retail/consumer banking, or related fields preferred
Strong communication, relationship-building, and target-driven mindset
