Job Description

Packages Group is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Assistant Manager Maintenance to support and oversee maintenance operations, ensuring optimal performance, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support development of preventive and corrective maintenance plans
Supervise maintenance activities on the floor
Ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Assist in root cause analysis of machine breakdowns
Maintain maintenance logs and generate reports
Coordinate with production teams for planned shutdowns
Ensure availability of tools, spare parts, and materials
Enforce safety protocols during maintenance work
Provide technical guidance to technicians and operators

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and organizational abilities
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
