📌 Position Overview:

Assistant Manager Legal – MMBL is responsible for managing litigation matters, ensuring legal compliance, and providing end-to-end legal support across departments. The role focuses on safeguarding organizational interests through strong legal drafting, advisory, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

⚖️ Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and respond to legal notices and other legal documents
Provide legal opinions on HR-related matters including warnings, show-cause notices, and inquiries
Coordinate with internal departments and external legal counsels for litigation support
Participate in case strategy meetings and assist in legal decision-making processes
Support branches in filing suits and monitoring ongoing legal cases
Prepare written statements, para-wise comments, and court-related legal documents
Analyze laws, regulations, and judicial decisions to ensure compliance and legal accuracy
Draft undertakings, NOCs, bank guarantees, bonds, SOPs, policies, and legal correspondence
Assist in securing Intellectual Property Rights including trademarks and copyrights
Respond to legal queries from branches regarding customer-related legal claims

🎓 Eligibility Criteria:

LLB or LLM degree from a recognized institution
3–5 years of relevant legal experience

⭐ Preferred Skills:

Experience in microfinance banking (advantageous)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation abilities
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
