About the Role
Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is hiring a General Banking Officer to support branch banking operations and deliver excellent customer service. The role involves handling account operations, customer support, non-financial transactions, reporting, cash operations backup, and ensuring compliance with banking SOPs and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient customer service while maintaining branch service quality standards.
- Handle account opening, account maintenance, closures, dormancy management, stop payments, and related operational activities.
- Process all non-financial transactions accurately as per SOPs.
- Manage customer queries and complaints within defined turnaround time.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain branch records/registers.
- Assist in fixed assets verification and administrative support activities.
- Maintain and balance security stationery including cheque books, ATM cards, and banking instruments.
- Support teller operations including cash deposits, withdrawals, clearing entries, and vault balancing.
- Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and operational policies.
- Participate in Gold Loan assessments and other branch operational activities.
- Perform clearing operations, scanning/uploading documentation, and reconciliation tasks.
- Act as custodian of allocated keys, stamps, and operational inventory.
Eligibility Criteria
✔ Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution in a relevant field
✔ Minimum 2 years of relevant banking experience
✔ Strong communication, customer handling, and operational management skills
✔ Knowledge of banking operations, compliance procedures, and branch SOPs
