Job Overview
Bestway Cement Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Dy. Manager Preventive Maintenance to lead preventive maintenance operations and ensure uninterrupted, energy-efficient plant performance. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in maintenance strategies, inspection systems, and SAP PM operations within the cement industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage preventive maintenance activities to achieve optimum operational efficiency and zero breakdowns.
- Implement inspection plans including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly 4S inspections for static and rotary equipment.
- Monitor vibration, temperature, balancing, alignment, NDT, borescope inspections, and thickness measurements.
- Ensure efficient utilization of SAP PM Module for notifications, order creation, settlements, and asset management.
- Issue and monitor PM departmental checklists across all departments.
- Prepare RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) reports for breakdowns and repeated failures.
- Coordinate shutdown planning, pending activities, and spare parts arrangements with relevant departments.
- Assist in maintenance budget preparation based on wear patterns, maintenance history, and forecasting.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
Requirements & Skills
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in the Cement Industry.
- Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance strategies.
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and MS Office.
- Ability to independently perform 4S and specific inspections.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Commitment to HSE policies and workplace safety standards.
