Bank of Khyber is hiring Chief Compliance Officer / Group Head

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) required
• Preference: Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field
• Also eligible: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC Pakistan
• Foreign qualifications must have HEC equivalency certificate
• Additional advantage: Certifications such as CAMS, CFCS, CCEP, CGSS or other Compliance-related certifications

💼 Experience Required

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Compliance, Audit, Operations, Risk, or Internal Controls in a financial institution
• At least 5 years in a senior-level Compliance role
• Candidates currently heading Compliance function in a financial institution may be exempt from senior-level requirement
• Must meet State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Fit & Proper Test criteria

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance frameworks across all banking operations
• Act as liaison between the bank and regulatory authorities
• Ensure implementation of AML / KYC / CDD / EDD / CFT policies
• Strengthen internal controls across credit, business, and operations
• Design compliance risk strategies, policies, and mitigation frameworks
• Monitor and review compliance risk management systems
• Participate in key organizational committees as Chairperson/Member
• Perform additional duties assigned by CEO/MD/Board of Directors
