Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) is seeking a qualified and motivated Finance & Grant Officer to support financial management, grant administration, budgeting, reporting, and compliance activities for development projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial transparency, donor compliance, and efficient utilization of project resources.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA (Part Qualified), ICMA, CPA, or equivalent will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, grants management, or donor-funded projects.
- Experience working with NGOs, development organizations, or international donor-funded programs will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in budget preparation, financial monitoring, and grant compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project finances in accordance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Process financial transactions, payments, and reimbursements accurately and on time.
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare financial reports for management, donors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with donor regulations, audit requirements, and financial controls.
- Coordinate with program teams for budget tracking and expenditure management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
- Monitor grant utilization and ensure expenditures remain within approved budgets.
- Assist in financial analysis, risk assessment, and cost optimization initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and accounting software.
- Knowledge of donor compliance requirements and grant management procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
