Job Description

Bestway Cement Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Procurement to support and streamline procurement operations across its plants. The role involves managing the procurement of Mechanical, Civil, Administration, and Marketing-related materials while ensuring timely purchasing, supplier coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Review comparative statements and prepare procurement cases for management approval.
Generate and issue purchase orders and ensure timely dispatch to suppliers.
Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
Coordinate with Plant and Finance teams to resolve post-dispatch and procurement-related issues.
Support negotiations for high-value purchases and long-term supply agreements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and vendor relationships.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and operational requirements.

Qualification & Experience

Education

BBA or MBA with specialization in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Experience

02–03 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.

Required Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems.
Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
