About the Role

A leading telecom organization is seeking an experienced Senior Executive – RAN L1 Optimization to support Radio Access Network (RAN) optimization and planning activities across the South Region. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in network performance analysis, optimization strategies, and future network technologies.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Monitor OSS KPIs related to accessibility, retainability, mobility, and network quality to ensure departmental targets are achieved.

✅ Conduct root cause analysis of network performance degradation and coordinate with relevant teams for timely issue resolution.

✅ Perform new site planning, congestion analysis, and optimization solutions across the South Region.

✅ Execute inter-operator benchmark drive tests to evaluate network performance and identify opportunities for competitive improvement.

✅ Conduct consistency audits of network parameters and features, ensuring discrepancies are identified and rectified.

✅ Lead optimization trials, parameter tuning, and feature implementation initiatives to enhance network quality and customer experience.

✅ Redesign network coverage by optimizing antenna tilts, heights, and configurations to resolve coverage gaps, pilot pollution, and integration challenges.

Eligibility Criteria

🎓 Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.

💼 Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in RAN Optimization and Planning.

• Strong expertise in RAN Planning and Optimization for 2G, 3G, and 4G networks.
• Experience in network performance monitoring, KPI analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network evolution trends and future-generation telecom technologies.
