About the Organization

Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) is a leading non-profit organization working to promote education and lifelong learning across Pakistan. The organization is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to support infrastructure rehabilitation and construction supervision projects.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure rehabilitation, construction supervision, or related projects.
• Experience in education sector infrastructure or emergency response projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and oversee infrastructure rehabilitation activities.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and technical reports.
• Supervise contractors and ensure project quality standards are met.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Coordinate with school communities, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Support implementation of inclusive and disaster-resilient infrastructure practices.

Required Skills & Competencies

✔ Strong understanding of civil engineering and construction practices.
✔ Experience in school infrastructure rehabilitation projects.
✔ Proficiency in site assessments, BOQ preparation, and technical documentation.
✔ Ability to manage contractors and ensure quality control.
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
✔ Knowledge of gender-responsive, inclusive, and disaster-resilient infrastructure standards.
