Job Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Verification Officer to support branch operations by ensuring credit risk remains within approved policies and guidelines. The role involves loan verification, credit assessment, compliance monitoring, customer verification, and supporting credit-related decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness according to credit policies.

✅ Conduct pre-approval and post-disbursement verifications.

✅ Verify borrowers’ information, business activities, addresses, and repayment capacity.

✅ Participate in Branch Credit Committee meetings and provide independent recommendations.

✅ Maintain records and MIS of loan applications, approvals, and rejections.

✅ Identify and report policy violations and compliance issues.

✅ Assess customer creditworthiness and verify credit history.

✅ Coordinate with branch management to improve loan portfolio quality.

✅ Provide credit assessment and compliance training to branch staff.

✅ Verify Goldsmith credentials, conduct quarterly verifications, and supervise gold auctions where applicable.

🎓 Bachelor's Degree in:

Business Administration
Banking & Finance
Agriculture
Economics
Accounts

📈 Experience:

3–5 years of relevant experience in credit management, verification, or related banking functions.
