Nestlé is seeking an experienced and scientifically driven Field Medical Advisor to support its Infant Nutrition business. This role is responsible for strengthening evidence-based medical and scientific communication, building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, and promoting scientific excellence in infant nutrition.
The successful candidate will serve as a credible source of nutrition science knowledge for field teams, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders while ensuring strict compliance with all applicable industry and company guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Minimum MBBS or Doctor of Pharmacy (DPharm)
- Additional qualification such as MBA and/or Diploma in Nutrition will be an advantage
Experience
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in medical affairs, scientific communication, KOL engagement, or infant/child nutrition
- Strong knowledge of medical sciences and nutrition
- Experience working with infant nutrition field teams or equivalent healthcare-focused roles is preferred
Key Responsibilities
Medical & Scientific Communication
- Strengthen evidence-based scientific and medical communication across Infant Nutrition initiatives
- Serve as a trusted scientific resource for healthcare professionals, KOLs, and internal teams
- Review scientific literature and provide accurate responses to medical and nutrition-related queries
- Validate and communicate scientific messages in a compliant and effective manner
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, healthcare institutions, pharmacists, nurses, and key opinion leaders
- Support compliant scientific interactions and educational engagements
- Address product-related scientific queries and communicate Nestlé Infant Nutrition’s scientific position
Training & Capability Development
- Conduct scientific training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities for field teams
- Enhance field-force capabilities through product knowledge updates and scientific education
- Support workshops, conferences, symposia, roundtables, and professional development programs
Planning & Reporting
- Plan field visits, stakeholder engagements, and scientific activities
- Maintain records and reports related to KOL engagement and scientific initiatives
- Monitor industry trends and competitive scientific activities
- Track progress and follow-up actions to ensure objectives are achieved
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure strict adherence to the WHO Code, Local Code, Nestlé Instructions, and company policies
- Handle scientific materials, literature, and company assets responsibly
- Maintain ethical and compliant professional conduct in all interactions
- Avoid direct or indirect business contact with pregnant women and mothers of infants and young children
