This position focuses on inventory planning, distribution optimization, transportation efficiency, and maintaining high service levels across the supply network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize distribution and replenishment plans based on customer demand and network capacity.
- Plan transportation loads to maximize efficiency while controlling logistics costs.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels across distribution centers to achieve availability, freshness, and working capital targets.
- Monitor planning exceptions and take timely corrective actions using data-driven decision-making.
- Execute weekly planning cycles while ensuring excellent service levels for local and Inter-Market Supply (IMS) operations.
- Identify potential supply risks and communicate them proactively to relevant stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and distribution planning processes.
- Define, implement, and maintain Distribution Center (DC) stock coverage policies.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Transport, and Distribution Center Operations teams for seamless supply chain execution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, preferably in:
- Distribution Center Operations
- Transport Operations
- Factory Logistics
- Demand & Supply Planning
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective business decisions.
- Experience with planning tools such as SAP APO will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated with strong ownership, accountability, and teamwork skills.
