Insignia is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations for both Head Office and Retail employees. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee benefits administration, and timely resolution of payroll-related matters while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
Process monthly payroll for Head Office and Retail employees.
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, allowances, deductions, incentives, and retail sales-based compensation.
Deliver payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
Employee Benefits Administration
Manage EOBI and PESSI compliance.
Process employee medical claims and reimbursements.
Administer fuel cards and other employee allowances.
Ensure timely payment of employee benefits and reimbursements.
Final Settlement Processing
Handle complete employee final settlements.
Prepare settlement documents for audits.
Process post-audit adjustments and ensure timely release of final dues.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure payroll activities comply with labor laws and company policies.
Coordinate with Finance and Internal Audit teams for payroll validation and reporting.
Maintain accurate payroll records to support internal and external audits.
Attendance & Payroll Deductions
Manage Head Office attendance records.
Process leave deductions and absenteeism adjustments accurately.
Resolve attendance-related discrepancies with relevant departments.
Employee Support
Respond to payroll-related queries and concerns.
Provide clear guidance on salary, deductions, and employee benefits.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling employee information.
Systems & Data Management
Utilize ERP, HRIS, and payroll systems for payroll processing and reporting.
Coordinate with IT teams and external system providers to resolve payroll system issues.
Generate payroll reports and maintain accurate employee records.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Bachelor's degree or MBA (HR or a related field preferred).
Experience
2–5 years of experience in payroll processing or HR operations.
Hands-on experience with payroll software and statutory compliance, including labor laws, taxation, EOBI, PESSI, and social security regulations.
