Insignia is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Footwear Designer to join its design team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience who are passionate about footwear design, fashion trends, and product development.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing seasonal footwear collections based on approved design briefs.
Prepare design packs, technical documentation, and product specifications.
Create sketches and digital illustrations using industry-standard design tools.
Conduct trend research and competitor analysis to support new collections.
Develop mood boards and seasonal inspiration presentations.
Coordinate with sourcing teams during prototype and sample development.
Track design revisions and maintain accurate project documentation.
Learn cost considerations and material selection under senior designers' guidance.
Update technical files and support seasonal product presentations.
Collaborate with Sourcing, Planning, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth project execution.

✅ Required Skills

Technical Skills

Basic footwear illustration and sketching abilities.
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Understanding of footwear/garment construction principles.
Interest in learning product costing and commercial aspects of design.

Soft Skills

🎓 Qualification

BS in Leather Accessories & Footwear Design (PIFD) or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
