Lead and supervise branch operations to ensure smooth daily banking activities.
Work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure full compliance with bank policies, SOPs, and SBP Prudential Regulations.
Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
Supervise branch staff and recommend timely staff rotation where required.
Ensure dual-control procedures and safeguard confidential banking information.
Authorize and monitor financial and non-financial transactions in real time.
Maintain daily balancing of cash books, vaults, and branch accounts.
Oversee deposits, cash operations, remittances, clearing, HR, credits, JazzCash, recoveries, and related banking functions.
Prepare and submit operational MIS reports, confirmations, and compliance reports.
Coordinate internal, external, and SBP audits and ensure timely compliance.
Maintain records of account opening documentation and security stationery.
Supervise custody of security items including PDCs, gold, passbooks, ATM codes, and duplicate keys.
Ensure proper record keeping, voucher verification, and end-of-day operational closure.
Manage HR and administrative matters for branch staff.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient branch operations.
Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
MBA will be considered an added advantage (subject to approval).
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant banking operations experience.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of branch operations and banking procedures.
Understanding of SBP Prudential Regulations and regulatory compliance.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Customer service and complaint resolution skills.
Operational risk management.
