Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) is seeking a skilled Senior Officer – Supply Chain (Technical Buyer) to manage the procurement of engineering, maintenance, and technical materials required for healthcare operations. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency, and compliance with organizational procurement standards.

🎓 Required Qualification

Bachelor's degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Or another relevant Engineering discipline
Professional certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement will be considered an added advantage.

💼 Experience Required

3–4 years of relevant experience in technical procurement.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- Healthcare
- Industrial
- Engineering
- Maintenance environments

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Procure engineering, maintenance, and technical equipment and services.
Handle procurement of:
- HVAC systems
- Generators
- Electrical & Mechanical equipment
- Plumbing & Civil materials
- MEP-related supplies
- Medical equipment accessories
Review technical specifications, BOQs, engineering drawings, and scopes of work.
Obtain quotations and prepare technical/commercial comparison reports.
Evaluate suppliers and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and vendors.
Prepare Purchase Orders (POs), Work Orders (WOs), and service contracts.
Source and maintain a database of approved technical vendors.
Negotiate pricing, warranties, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
Coordinate procurement activities for CAPEX and maintenance projects.
Track project deliveries and ensure timely material availability.
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate procurement with both local and international suppliers.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal procedures.
Perform additional duties assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department.
