National Bank of Pakistan is hiring Recovery Support Officers (OG-III / OG-II)

Reporting To: Unit Head - Retail and Program Lending Division
Employment Type: Contract (3 Years, renewable based on management discretion)
Location: Sukkur, Faisalabad

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess:

• Minimum Graduation or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized local or international university, college, or institute.
• Candidates holding an LL.B degree or other relevant professional certifications will be given preference.

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of banking and/or judicial experience.
• Experience in recovery-related litigation within a commercial bank is required.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Sound knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment.
• Goal-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Reviewing recovery cases recommended by the collection and recovery team.
• Coordinating with BLAs, branches, regional offices, and collection teams regarding recovery suits.
• Monitoring ongoing litigation cases and advising the Unit Head on legal coordination matters.
• Reviewing the progress of outstanding litigation cases and coordinating with external legal counsel.
• Reviewing legal plaints before filing recovery cases and providing administrative support to legal counsels.
• Obtaining regular case updates from legal counsel.
• Attending court hearings and reporting outcomes to the Unit Head Legal Coordination.
• Coordinating out-of-court settlements with the Unit Head Collections and BLAs.
• Preparing, maintaining, and sharing daily and weekly MIS reports of filed and pending recovery cases.
• Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Assessment Process

• Only shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited for a written test and/or panel interview.
