Job Description

• Receive grocery stock from the warehouse and verify quantities against stock records.
• Refill and arrange products on shelves according to planograms and FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Ensure shelves remain clean, fully stocked, organized, and properly faced at all times.
• Check product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged items promptly.
• Place and update price tags, promotional labels, and shelf signage.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide basic product guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of grocery aisles, shelves, and storage areas.
• Report low stock, damaged products, and stock discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Support inventory counts, stock audits, and daily merchandising activities.
• Follow company SOPs, hygiene guidelines, and health & safety procedures.
• Assist in unloading and moving stock using safe handling practices.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Department Supervisor or Store Management.
