🎓 Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm-D) (Mandatory)
📜 Preferred Certification: National or internationally recognized Supply Chain Management certification (Preferred)
💼 Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare sector.

Indus Hospital & Health Network is seeking a qualified Supply Chain Officer to manage procurement activities, ensure the timely availability of medical and general supplies, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support efficient supply chain operations while adhering to organizational procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure medical and general store items accurately and on time.
• Process purchase requisitions and prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders (WOs) in accordance with procurement policies.
• Ensure the availability of required materials at competitive prices within the required timelines.
• Obtain quotations, conduct comparative evaluations, and prepare comparison statements.
• Verify purchase orders for approved specifications, pricing, quality, and quantities.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding quotations, negotiations, deliveries, warranties, and after-sales services.
• Track delivery schedules and keep relevant departments updated on procurement status.
• Inspect received materials, resolve discrepancies, and manage rejected items when required.
• Maintain and update approved vendor databases and procurement records.
• Conduct regular market price analysis to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Maintain complete documentation for procurement activities, including POs, WOs, and related records.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain management processes.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines with accuracy.
