Meezan Bank Limited is seeking applications for the position of Rejection Review Manager in Karachi. The role involves reviewing rejected consumer financing applications, managing appeals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and identifying opportunities to improve rejection and reconsideration processes.

Eligibility

Qualification

• Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master's degree, from an HEC-recognized institution/university.
• Qualification in Islamic Finance will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in Consumer Products, CIU, Product, or Risk will be preferred.

Skills Required

• Analytical and negotiation skills
• Communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and unsecured products

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the analysis, validation, and review of rejected applications for potential reconsideration.
• Review canceled, declined, and rejected cases to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and SBP Consumer Financing regulations.
• Lead the appeals process by preparing rebuttals, reviewing documentation, and identifying errors or process gaps.
• Develop improvement strategies based on rejection trends and process findings.
• Maintain records of rejection trends, overturned decisions, and financial impacts for management reporting.
