Nishat Chunian Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager Import to manage and coordinate end-to-end import operations, documentation, clearance, logistics, and related payment processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complete import shipment operations, including requisitions, documentation, clearance, delivery, and post-shipment record maintenance.
Coordinate with clearing agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, transporters, and internal departments.
Monitor shipments and provide accurate daily status updates while resolving operational issues promptly.
Oversee LCs and air shipment clearances and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
Coordinate logistics-related payments to transporters, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and other service providers.
Maintain accurate ERP transactions and records related to procurement, imports, logistics, inventory, and payments.
Provide guidance and support to team members involved in import operations.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
4–5 years of relevant experience in Import operations.
Strong knowledge of Import Air & Sea Clearance processes.
Good understanding of Letters of Credit (LCs), import documentation, and banking procedures.
Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP systems.
Excellent coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and work effectively under pressure.
Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong record-keeping, reporting, and data management skills.
