Habib Bank Limited (HBL) is hiring Branch Operations Manager

HBL is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to oversee branch operational activities, ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met, and support the Branch Manager in delivering efficient customer service and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager as second in command in managing branch functions smoothly.
• Ensure compliance with Branch Operations, Foreign Exchange, KYC/AML policies, and applicable service-level agreements.
• Supervise over-the-counter services and ensure timely and accurate customer transaction processing.
• Manage and supervise trade operations support where applicable.
• Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports.
• Monitor KYC status, customer profiles, conduct risk assessments, and daily transaction authorizations.
• Oversee reconciliation of inter-branch and cross-branch transactions and internal controls.
• Ensure branch processes comply with bank policies and support successful internal, external, and SBP audits.
• Maintain custody of ATM PINs, security stationery, vault and safe keys, and server room access.
• Oversee general banking operations including account opening, cash, clearing, remittances, term deposits, and ATM operations.
• Coordinate with branches and Head Office departments including Operations, Treasury, Credit Administration, Trade Finance, Finance, Administration, and IT.
• Supervise the initialization and end-of-day processes of the banking application.
• Promote migration of over-the-counter transactions to alternate banking channels.
• Support resolution of customer cases and grievances to improve customer experience.
• Assist in deposit retention, cross-selling, customer satisfaction, and overall branch business growth.
• Lead the Branch Operations team, set objectives, review performance, and provide ongoing feedback.
• Implement technological and procedural changes introduced by Head Office.
• Perform additional duties assigned by line management.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree

Minimum Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of Branch Operations experience
