The Assistant Manager Infrastructure Planning will be responsible for the design, planning, evaluation and technical governance of Civil, MEP and infrastructure-related projects for nationwide Data Centers, Telehouses and Major HUB sites.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, design and evaluate civil, structural and MEP infrastructure for Data Centers, Telehouses and Major HUB sites.

Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings, civil designs and site master plans.

Conduct structural assessments of slabs, beams, columns, foundations, roofs and other building elements.

Review structural assessment reports and recommend strengthening, rehabilitation and rectification measures.
-
Evaluate site and building capacity, including rack loading, equipment loading, battery loading, DG and transformer loading.

Assess power availability, cooling capacity, space utilization, structural loading and MEP infrastructure.

Ensure designs comply with international standards, local building codes, telecom requirements and Data Center best practices.

Consider earthquake, wind, fire, flood, extreme weather and other natural disaster risks in infrastructure planning.

Conduct nationwide site surveys and prepare detailed Civil, Structural and MEP assessment reports.

Develop short-, medium- and long-term infrastructure expansion strategies.

Plan and track Civil and MEP projects from concept through implementation, testing, commissioning and handover.

Prepare and review RFPs, technical specifications, BOQs, scope of work, tender documents, contracts and SLAs.

Evaluate technical proposals from consultants, contractors and OEMs.

Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.

Provide technical guidance during construction, installation, testing and commissioning.

Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical data sheets and method statements.

Monitor project progress, quality, technical compliance, implementation risks and project dependencies.

Conduct technical audits and quality inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.

Develop contingency plans and manage changes in project scope.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or another relevant field.
Preferred Certifications
-
Certified Data Center Professional
-
Certified Data Center Specialist
-
Certified TIA-942 Internal Auditor
Experience
-
Preferably 5+ years of relevant work experience.

At least 3+ years of technical civil engineering design experience in Data Centers is preferred.
-
Experience in mission-critical infrastructure is an advantage.
