NADRA is seeking a qualified and experienced legal professional for the position of Assistant Director (Legal) on a contractual basis at its Islamabad Headquarters.
Educational Qualification
- LL.B or Bar-at-Law.
- Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory.
- Educational degrees must be HEC-attested.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
- Candidates having 5 or more years of relevant experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and reviewing rules, regulations, policies, and legal frameworks for government approval.
- Support the implementation of compliance frameworks related to data protection, privacy, and security regulations.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis of national and international laws relevant to NADRA's functions.
- Monitor regulatory compliance and assist in legal and regulatory risk assessments.
- Coordinate with government agencies, regulatory authorities, and relevant stakeholders to ensure policy alignment.
- Prepare legal documents, reports, recommendations, and briefs for senior management.
- Provide legal opinions on policy, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Apply knowledge of Pakistani laws relating to citizenship, registration, data protection, and privacy.
- Demonstrate strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and opinion-writing skills.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- The selected candidate will undergo a 6-month probation period, which may be extended subject to performance.
- Management reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process and accept or reject any application at any stage without assigning any reason.

- No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
- Electronic gadgets, including mobile phones and smart watches, will not be allowed during the test/interview.
