Job Overview

Vital Petroleum is seeking an experienced In Charge Tracker Base Station – Logistics to oversee fleet tracking, real-time journey monitoring, reporting, and coordination with relevant operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 fleet monitoring and ensure effective real-time journey tracking.
• Ensure timely reporting of route deviations, unauthorized stops, and incidents.
• Monitor tracking hardware, software, and device performance across the fleet.
• Coordinate with fleet, maintenance, security, and operations teams for issue resolution.
• Supervise tracker staff and maintain accurate journey logs and monitoring records.
• Prepare analytical reports and recommend improvements in tracking processes and technology.

Requirements

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of GPS tracking systems and fleet monitoring software.
• Ability to manage teams and respond effectively during operational emergencies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in fleet tracking or GPS monitoring.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, OMC, or Logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of operations, OGRA requirements, tracking systems, and MS Office.
