Jazz is looking for a Category Analyst Procurement – Transport to support the end-to-end procurement process within the Transport category, including MW, Optical, IP, and Fiber.
The position reports directly to the Category Procurement Manager – Transport and is an individual contributor role with no people-management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of sourcing calendars aligned with budgets and business requirements.
- Assist with procurement planning and coordinate RFQ/RFP timelines.
- Participate in vendor assessments, evaluations, and scoring.
- Support sourcing projects throughout the procurement lifecycle, including RFQ/RFP documentation and bid collection.
- Prepare commercial evaluations, basic TCO analysis, and techno-commercial comparisons.
- Coordinate BOQ alignment and ensure compliance with approved frame agreements.
- Assist with bulk purchase agreements and catalogue-based PO issuance.
- Support price verification and participate in commercial negotiations under senior guidance.
- Prepare monthly dashboards, KPI reports, and spend/savings analysis using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Assist in developing analytical reports and presentations for procurement decision-making.
- Prepare negotiation summaries and sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and support procurement execution.
- Conduct market research and gather supplier intelligence.
- Support monthly and YTD procurement spend and savings reporting.
- Maintain accuracy in procurement documentation, reporting, and data management.
- Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Digital, AI & Analytical Skills
Candidates should be well-versed in modern procurement and analytical tools, including:
- Oracle ERP (ESS/Fusion): Experience with the purchasing module, Tender/RFx creation, and e-Auction processes.
- SAP Ariba Contract Management: Experience creating Contract Request Workspaces and supporting contract normalization and negotiations.
- Microsoft 365: Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Think-Cell & Power BI: Strong analytical, reporting, and visualization capabilities.
- AI & Analytics: Ability to develop analytical/data models, use Agentic AI tools for operational activities, and demonstrate knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) models.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent discipline.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, developing sourcing plans, and achieving procurement targets.
Additional Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical knowledge or experience within a Mobile/Cellular Operator or Vendor environment is an advantage.
- Expertise in RAN, Core, and Transport Networks will be considered a plus.
- CIPS certification at any level is preferred.
