Job Responsibilities
-
Supervise receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.

Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels in the warehouse system.

Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles.
-
Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
-
Ensure medicines are stored under recommended temperature, humidity, and safety conditions.
-
Monitor cold chain management for temperature-sensitive medicines.
-
Inspect incoming supplies for quality, expiry dates, and purchase-order compliance.
-
Coordinate timely distribution of medicines and consumables to pharmacies, wards, and departments.

Monitor stock requests and ensure prompt fulfillment.
-
Prevent stock-outs and overstocking through effective planning and forecasting.
-
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and drug-storage standards.
-
Maintain documentation required for audits and inspections.
-
Ensure proper handling and disposal of expired or damaged medicines according to regulations.

Maintain stock registers, receiving logs, dispatch records, and other warehouse documentation.

Prepare inventory and consumption reports for management.
-
Supervise reporting staff and provide training to junior staff.

Perform other relevant duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
