alBaraka Bank is seeking an experienced Unit Head - SWIFT Operations to oversee SWIFT-related operations and ensure efficient, secure, and timely processing of financial messages.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all SWIFT messages are exported, reconciled, and distributed to relevant branches and departments within the stipulated timeframe.
• Maintain accurate date-wise electronic records of SWIFT messages.
• Oversee the availability of the SWIFT system and its connectivity with SWIFT Belgium to ensure timely transmission of messages.
• Coordinate with the IT department to resolve application-related issues and ensure proper archival of SWIFT messages.
• Manage the creation and amendment of SWIFT profiles in coordination with Information Security (InfoSec).
• Ensure timely processing of monthly SWIFT payments following the required approvals.
• Respond to queries from centralized departments and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Perform other SWIFT-related duties and responsibilities assigned by senior management.
