Qualification
- M.Phil. in Education completed or currently enrolled.
- Academic degree in Natural Sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology, etc., or an Engineering degree.
Job Description
- Teach by modelling innovative and student-centered teaching strategies to provide student-teachers with practical exposure to professional teaching.
- Participate in professional development activities, including developing course outlines, schemes of work, lesson plans, and classroom materials.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members, observe teaching practices, and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to administrative activities, faculty committees, academic departments, and general faculty meetings.
- Support professional outreach activities, including conferences, professional events, guest speaker sessions, consultation projects, and review panels.
- Conduct scholarly research in teacher and school education, publish research findings, and participate in academic conferences and workshops.
- Serve on campus-wide committees and provide guidance to student organizations.
- Supervise and mentor students during teaching practice, including observing school-based lessons and providing feedback.
- Participate in college events, conferences, commencement activities, and other institutional responsibilities during the working week.
