Job Description

National Foods Limited is seeking a Manager – Supply Planning and Monitoring to ensure seamless material availability and production execution across local and international business divisions, including Toll Manufacturing.

The role focuses on optimizing inventory, aligning production with sales forecasts, reducing supply chain disruptions, and improving working capital through data-driven planning and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Material Requirement Planning (MRP) in SAP to ensure availability of raw and packaging materials.
• Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Optimize inventory using Days of Coverage (DoC) and safety stock strategies.
• Maintain an efficient balance between inventory and demand to optimize working capital.
• Analyze Slow-Moving and Obsolete Stock (SLOB) and develop appropriate liquidation or disposal strategies.
• Coordinate with Procurement for timely inbound material flow.
• Identify production capacity constraints and work with Operations to address bottlenecks.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) and Consumer Promotion (CP) launches.
• Analyze demand forecasts against production plans and prepare SKU-wise reports.
• Conduct weekly demand-supply reconciliation meetings.
• Monitor production schedules and make adjustments according to market demand.
• Coordinate with Toll Manufacturing partners.
• Develop risk mitigation plans for material shortages and supply disruptions.
• Coordinate with QC and Regulatory teams to maintain food safety and industry compliance.
• Prioritize production based on promotions, seasonality, and market trends.
• Ensure export order fulfillment and timely shipping coordination.
• Provide supply chain performance insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Resolve BOM and Routing issues in coordination with R&D and Production teams.
• Implement automated reporting tools such as Power BI and SAP dashboards.
• Mentor and develop reporting executives.
• Lead cross-functional supply chain projects focused on growth and cost optimization.
