Qualification
-
Intermediate qualification or above.

Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is an advantage.
Experience
-
Prior experience in book layout, publication design, or similar print-production work.

Experience with Urdu-language materials is preferred.

Experience preparing final artwork for offset printing.
-
Experience converting content from Word, PDF, CorelDraw, handwritten notes, or rough sketches into InDesign/Illustrator files.
Software Skills

Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign — primary requirement.

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Familiarity with CorelDraw and MS Word.
Key Responsibilities
-
Convert approved manuscript content, illustrations, and design references into fully laid-out, print-ready Urdu-language materials.

Ensure accuracy of Urdu composition.

Maintain visual consistency throughout the publication.

Prepare artwork according to print-production requirements.

Meet tight deadlines and milestone-driven production schedules.

Manage multiple rounds of revisions across a large volume of pages.
Other Requirements

Candidate must be based in Karachi.

Must be able to work in-office for the full duration of the engagement.

Must have a personal laptop/computer capable of handling large, graphics-heavy design files.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work under tight deadlines.
