Habib Bank Limited (HBL) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Network Security Specialist to support IT network security, risk management, cloud security assessments, cyber defense, and security governance.
Key Responsibilities
IT Network Security
-
Review security architecture and recommend appropriate controls to protect IT networks.

Conduct information security risk assessments of IT networks.
-
Perform security assessments of cloud services.
-
Design and assess security baselines and evaluate the effectiveness of hardening controls.

Assist the Team Leader in managing cyber defense at the IT network level.
-
Support the Team Leader in ensuring that relevant audit findings are closed within the required timelines.
-
Assist in tracking payments made to project vendors related to IT infrastructure security.
-
Liaise with vendors regarding IT network security projects and solutions.
-
Supervise and review work assigned to analysts.

Communicate effectively with Senior Management.
People Management & Stakeholder Coordination

Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including technology teams, business units, and third parties.

Provide necessary information, security guidance, and support to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Management Information Systems (MIS).

Bachelor Honours / 16 years of education.
Preferred Professional Certifications:
Candidates holding at least one of the following certifications will be preferred:

CISA

CISM
-
CISSP
-
CRISC
-
MCSE
-
CCNA
Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security, IT Risk Management, or a related field.

A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security is also mentioned as part of the experience/qualification requirements.
