📋 Job Description

The Senior Officer – Internal Audit will be responsible for auditing activities of various departments to ensure compliance with approved plans, policies, procedures, and departmental SOPs. The role involves preparing audit reports, identifying areas for improvement, following up on previous audit findings, and maintaining professional standards and ethics.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Review the effectiveness of internal control systems and ensure compliance with departmental SOPs.
• Ensure timely initiation, execution, and completion of audits.
• Prepare audit drafts, complete working papers, and finalize audit reports.
• Follow up with departments regarding implementation of previous audit recommendations.
• Build effective working relationships and trust with other departments.
• Prepare reports on operational activities of various departments as assigned.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor implementation status of prior audit reports.
• Share knowledge with Internal Audit colleagues through presentations, workshops, briefings, and guidance.
• Maintain regular contact with departments to strengthen professional relationships.
• Assist the supervisor in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
• Perform other special assignments as directed by the supervisor.
