📋 Job Description

The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading the branch to achieve financial and service objectives while ensuring efficient operational and administrative management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the branch team to achieve financial and service-level objectives.
Plan and manage branch functions with a focus on loan and deposit acquisition within the assigned budget.
Develop a balance between loans and deposits to achieve branch self-funding status.
Take overall responsibility for the branch as a revenue center.
Ensure efficient expense management and maintain appropriate cost controls.
Act as a credit officer and facilitate loan approvals.
Oversee all operational and administrative functions of the branch.
Ensure timely opening of the branch and resumption of services according to the prescribed schedule.
Establish smooth procedures for branch opening and closing.
Ensure effective deployment of resources and conduct regular capacity planning.
Manage collection and recovery activities to keep delinquencies and losses within defined targets.
Ensure financial and functional transactions are executed efficiently while maintaining process integrity.
Plan and manage branch cash requirements to maintain optimum cash availability.
Arrange training and development opportunities for branch staff.
Build the professional and leadership capabilities of the team.
Conduct regular self-assessments and ensure branch readiness for internal, external and SBP audits.
Maintain the bank’s reputation by ensuring system integrity and accurate financial reconciliation.
