Position Details
Reporting To: Unit Head - Transaction Monitoring Unit
Location: Karachi
Educational / Professional Qualification
-
Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.

Candidates possessing a Master's degree, CAMS certification, or other relevant professional certifications will be preferred.
Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of banking experience.
-
At least 1 year of experience in Compliance, particularly in:
-
Transaction Monitoring
-
Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
-
KYC / CDD
Required Skills, Expertise & Knowledge
-
Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and/or Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) laws and regulations.

Knowledge of banking services and products.
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong team-player abilities.

Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within strict deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Good analytical and presentation skills.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
-
Monitor transactions in customer accounts on a daily basis through the AML transaction monitoring system.
-
Analyze and investigate suspicious activities and transactions.
-
Liaise with branches to obtain supporting documentation and enhanced due diligence where required.
-
Ensure completion of required documentation for filing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
-
Maintain records of alerts and cases handled.
-
Perform CTR reporting through GoAML to the Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU).
-
Perform any other duties or assignments given by the supervisor(s).
Assessment Test / Interview
Only shortlisted candidates who strictly meet the stated basic eligibility criteria will be invited for the assessment test and/or panel interview(s).
Employment Terms & Benefits

Employment will be on a contractual basis for three years.

The contract may be renewed at the discretion of Management.
