Job Description

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a qualified and experienced Supervisor for its Fresh Dairy, Bakery & Café department. The selected candidate will oversee daily operations, product quality, stock availability, hygiene, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor product expiry dates and ensure expired products are handled appropriately.
Keep shelf labels, rail cards, and signage updated.
Ensure shelves are properly stocked and presentable.
Maintain product availability and monitor stock levels.
Process repacking entries in the GMS system on time.
Perform weekly MAV through internal consumption for bakery production.
Prepare stock orders and maintain the necessary documentation.
Participate in weekly and annual inventory counts.
Implement corrective and preventive measures to control wastage and stock shrinkage.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to resolve quality-related issues.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in bakery production areas and equipment.
Continuously monitor negative stock positions.
Conduct free product sampling to promote high-priced items.
Recommend new bakery recipes to improve sales and meet customer needs.
Monitor structural deficiencies and report issues when necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Intermediate or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Candidates should be capable of managing stock, maintaining hygiene standards, and supervising bakery and fresh food operations.
